053 My FNaF Interview

Voiceover Lessons for Beginners

I tell the (brief) story of my Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location experience.

This is the audio portion of a video interview I did for a YouTuber. I cleaned up the audio a bit for listenability; I removed some breaths, mouth sounds and “umm”s, and extended some pauses. But the words are all there….almost—I bleeped the name of the YouTuber, apparently she didn’t want it mentioned.

I did a lot of takes when I recorded the video, and I’m not great at speaking to camera so my voice is pretty rough—another reason to stay on top of technique and vocal health!!

Link to the video is below but PLEASE BEWARE, the intro and outro music are MUCH LOUDER than my voice and if you’re not careful you’ll get a big volume hit, so pay attention and get ready to stop playback or lower your volume as soon as I finish—especially if you’re listening on headphones or earbuds.
